Her film career started in late 1940s after she was accepted by MGM. Her name was found by Norma Shearer. The actress portrayed Norma in a few popular movies over the years, such as Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho from 1960 and Living It Up, a Martin and Lewis film released in 1954.
