Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in Puy-de-Domme France on August 9 1976 the eldest child of four. Her parents a dental surgeon and teacher recognized and encouraged her passion for theatre and drama from a young age which overcame her initial ambition to become a primatologist due to her passion for monkeys. She rose to prominence as a child actress quickly and achieved huge achievement. The beginning of her career came in 1999, the year she first began performing professionally. In the years following her studies, Tautou was a participant in the French talent scouting television programme Jeunes Premiers. Tautou is a pupil of in the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris when she was a kid and was a student there from the age of a child she has since renounced her Catholic childhood. The actress claims to be a non-Catholic. In addition to acting, she took up modeling and was the spokesperson of L'Oreal Mont Blanc as well as Chanel. She also has a serious passion for photography. She recently presented an exhibit of her work during the Arles Festival with the name Superficial. She focuses her photography on famous people, the media and press that scrutinised her following her rise to fame in the film Amelie. Also, she has numerous photographs of herself. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and stardom with her major role in Le Fabuleux Destin of Amelie Poulain. Amelie has been undoubtedly a huge box office smash internationally and has been lauded at numerous award shows around the world. It's also the biggest French language film to ever be released in the US. In the years following the film, she appeared in numerous films ranging from British dramas and Jean Pierre Jeunet's Un long Sunday de Faancailles. After that, she shifted to Hollywood and appeared alongside Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
